Cubing Methods.
Beginner's Method is perfect for beginners because there are not many algorithms to memorize. I suggest that you learn this before any other method. It is the basis for many methods, such as Fridrich.
Also called the CFOP (Cross, F2L, OLL, PLL) method, most speed-cubers use it because it is very fast. I suggest this only if you have a decent speed cube or better. You will have to learn many algorithms and practice a lot. Fridrich should only be learned after the Beginner's Method is mastered (average time of about 1 min).
Although I won't be teaching you about these on this site, you should definitely know that there are more methods than just these two. The Petrus Method is one of the more popular alternates to Fridrich.
